REal Contemporay Arts :: You miss it; it's gone! 廣川的新舊合壁

From my recent trip to Guangzhou, I witness a moment of fast drying arts. The arts of practicing Chinese calligraphy in the park with water and a DIY water filled brush. The DIY is made up half of water bottle, a shaped sponge and a PVC tube. Water slowly penetrates according to the artist's waist movement. It is an art itself to witness such ancient tradition transformed into the public space of the city. Poetry and prose are being dry out as we speak...

TEXTS... we need to hear

"Our future may lie beyond our vision, but it is not completely beyond our control. It is the shaping impulse of America that neither fate nor nature nor the irresistible tides of history, but the work of our own hands, matched to reason and principle, that will determine our destiny. There is pride in that, even arrogance, but there is also experience and truth. In any event, it is the only way we can live."

Robert F. Kennedy
